Between guests arriving and departing during November and December there has been lots of work going on at The Lynhurst.
All of the bathrooms are having some refurbishment work, from new floors, to complete new showers installed. Hard work for everyone as with guests coming in and out there is a lot of packing and unpacking of building equipment.
Never mind the results are looking good, but as always with building work extra work gets found.
Outside is no exception, work goes on that guests don’t notice. Trees are a constant source of maintenance. Through word of mouth I found an excellent local tree surgeon who was up and down some of the trees. As you can see (looking closely above the conservatory) he was like a mountain goat taking some saplings out that I didn’t want to get too big. Not a job for a person with vertigo!
We do have enough timber to keep the fires going for quite some considerable time.
